Very cool, if true

Certainly when I was growing up in the 1970s there was a lot of stories about people being drunk in the streets.

When I was a teen in the 1980s the areas near nightclubs were full of drunk people when they kicked out, and the same with pubs.

Mind you, those were mostly working-class people, so they probably don't count when it comes to socially unacceptable things :->
