Date: 2012-01-21 01:29 pm (UTC)One of the (few) benefits to commuting by rail when I lived in Stirling was that, waiting at Edinburgh Park station after work at the right time of year, you would get a perfect view of the sun setting in the West since it was fairly flat with the track running in that direction. If you were there at just the right time, the sun would be setting behind a bridge and would briefly be visible through the arch of the bridge which looked pretty awesome.
