(The "suggestions" are also awesome.)

My ability to tell what is serious and what is a parody has now completely withered away... :(

Oh man. For bonus points, dig up the video where Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron (the two ignorant douchebags from this video) get shown what a WILD banana looks like, as opposed to the bioengineered one they're holding.

I'm so embarrassed that didn't even occur to me. I was quite happy with the "coincidence" explanation[1], I forgot that the basic premise of what they said might not be true.

[1] After all, many fruits are less convenient than that. Why? Whatever reason you give, you observe there's a massive range, which... doesn't seem unlikely if it just occurred randomly.

Wow. You know, that demonstration would have been even more convincing if he'd used, say, a rock instead of peanut butter. After all, he only quoted scientists as saying "matter", he didn't quote any suggestion that maybe it depended what SORT of matter.

God exists and he's a banana?

BTW, do you know the webcomic that takes the 'banana fits perfectly' argument and logically extends it to 'God wants us all to have gay sex'?

If I had it I'd have given it... I saw it *ages* ago, like several years. I've given you as much as I know, so let the best man google! ;)

Oh, one more thing: the dialogue goes, 'You know where else the banana fits perfectly?'

Right. If bananas are an atheist's nightmare because they're so convenient for humans to eat, what does that make coconuts?
