I'll tell you what, she's a good writer and everything and I think that her world-view makes a lot of sense, but I wouldn't want to be friends with someone who was patronising me and everyone else she was friends with because she was so much more enlightened than them. It must be hard to go through life knowing better than everyone.

I didn't feel she came across as knowing better. She spent a lot of time in there being self-questioning, and saying that she felt conflicted about things.

It's hard to take seriously an "idealist" whose writings appear on a page that's flipping one the bird. (Two-handed, at that.)
