I salute you! An outstanding use of language. I shall keep it and use it myself.

(I've noticed recently that my uninformed opinions of fiction I haven't seen based on aggregating LJ reviews seem to be disproportionately skewed by people whose comments are memorably witty in some way unrelated to their content. On that basis you may just have set my opinion of Inception in stone.)

It did seem too good to be true. But still funny!

I think it's mostly backlash against the initial praise.

I liked bits of it, but felt largely annoyed by the wasted potential of a much better movie.
