I just discovered why Ticketmaster never emailed me to tell me when Roger Waters tickets were going on sale.

It's because they had me down as living in Scotland. And as he was playing in England, clearly I wouldn't cross the bloody border to go see him. Such a thing would be unthinkable!

Well they emailed me, Roy and Kirstys dad. Plus it was on the BBC website as he's doing the anniversary of the wall. So I'd suggest you check your email filters or Ticketmaster settings as I get notifications for large gigs outside Scotland from them regularly.

Nope. I had my settings at the top of it set to Scotland, and when I went to "My Ticketmaster" it said "You have nothing on", until I changed it from "Scotland" to "UK", at which point it suddenly told me that three of my favourite bands were playing!

I wouldn't cross the road to see Roger Waters these days. Never really got Floyd, especially post DSoTM.

Not interested in Waters. Seen Floyd live many times, (starting with The Wall at Earls Court), but actually preferred the Gilmour led Floyd, and thought Waters was purposely trying to kill off the Wall in Berlin.

Just checked my setting and I have Scotland there too. However within my email settings I have a list of 56 performers as well as several genres selected. I have rechecked this weeks email and although I do get primarily Scottish gigs I am getting other notifications outwith Scotland. Maybe i have used them to buy english and american gig tickets means im not restricted as much?I also get a ticketweb weekly email which has more English gigs on it.

Perhaps they thought your passport had expired.

I'd love to have seen them live. Sadly, I got into them just a little too late (I could theoretically have seen them on the Division Bell tour, but was completely broke and out of touch with the music scene in general).
