Too true. And if my prince is also an insatiable whore, then so much the better.

Pretty true of most people, I guess ... although, actually, I already know quite enough insatiable whores _and_ charming princes (& princesses). (IMHO, charm is greatly over-rated.)

Oh Hells YES!!!!!!!!!!!

I've said for years that love is not a romance novel nor porn. *headdesk* I think that is why I pretty much despise both.

Social culture and upbringing also instill these world views in people. To what extent to films (Disney/Porn) get their positioning from life and vice versa?
Teenage girls are told to watchout for all boys because they are only after one thing translates as insatiable whore.
Some men are, some women are. It is not a plumbing linked trait.

Oh AMEN!!!!! Thank you for saying that and YES to your words!! My hubby likes romance novels involving werewolves and vampires. He also likes silly romantic comedy movies. (I usually don't). I think that is one of the reasons I love him: He defies stereotypes. :)

I just wish that more people knew what you know about the two genres. :)
