Putney to Battersea is 40 minutes by tube, with lots of stairs we'd
have to carry a buggy up and down.
So Jane had a genius idea and we are on a boat. Which does the trip in
31 minutes, and is a lot more comfortable with a nicer view.

We sail into the sunset after a long day including Battersea
Children's Zoo, The Natural History Museum, and the V&A.
We've clearly over-exercised the children as Gideon had two naps
(including the first half of the NHM so we had to do the dinosaurs
again when he woke up), and Sophia fell asleep on me as I carried her
down to the pier through Chelsea.
