Life with two kids: A fairly average Saturday

Left the house at 09:30, got bus to local garden centre Dobbies, met with friends to watch collective children do soft play, eat fried breakfast, and look at fish, got bus home again, after twenty minutes said goodbye to Jane and Gideon (who went for a nap) and took Sophia on a bus to family swim session, where she floated by herself in the middle of the pool for 5 seconds (which is remarkable progress), got the bus from there to the shopping centre where we bought dinner, got a bus home from there and put food in the fridge, chopped some peppers, sorted a sandwich, and put that in front of the kids (total elapsed time at home 9 minutes), got on another bus into town where I intend to spend my first evening trip out without a child in two years having an hour celebrating a friend's divorce going through.

Tomorrow is, so far, just Babyballet. I'm not sure what else will fill the gap, but I'm sure something will!
