Someone gets it right!

2000AD are selling some of their trade paperbacks as digital editions. And they are doing it _right_.

1) The price is about a third of the cost of the physical version.
2) It's in utterly DRM-free formats, both cbz and pdf.

Now, will someone please let the book industry know? I refused to pay for DRMed music, and I'm sure as hell not changing that for books.

Overheard in a toilet

Small child comes in with alternative looking mother. Small child has a temporary tattoo of a dolphin on her arm.
Little Old Lady: "That's a very pretty dolphin!"
Small Child: "It's just like the one mummy has on her vagina!"
Adults: deathly silence.

You can rent them by the yard

Just to be entirely clear, we're talking about _ebooks_ here.

Dear Game Developers

If you are going to have save points, rather than letting me save my game
wherever I fancy, then please place them _after_ the cut scene that leads
into the fight, not before it.

(This post brought to you by incredibly frustration with Bayonetta, where
the save points are frequently before a short walk, then a cut scene.
Which means that death causing a loading screen, then a short walk, then
another loading screen to get you to the cutscene, then another loading
screen to get you into the actual fight that you've already died in 15
times.)
