They built this journal on rock and roll
Sep. 28th, 2008 01:27 pmJulie, Morag, Erin, Si, Simon, Erin, Ailsa, Storm, Ellie and sundry others pitched up at Classic Rock Night last night, via The Auld Hoose and GH3 at Si's place.
It wasn't the world's best night out, but there was a sufficient level of cheesy and classic rock made me very happy - getting to dance to Living on a Prayer, Bad Touch, Paranoid, and even Eye of the Tiger was great. The only thing they could have played to really make my night was The Final Countdown. I even got to dance to Placebo with Julie, just to top things off.
And then we slept in until 1pm, which is how Sunday's should be. Next up, going out for breakfast, going to see Sarah and Debbie's new kitten, picking up some shelves from B&Q and then DIY around the flat. Plus, Jackie managed to pick up GH3 on the Wii for me for £40 - which made my morning, as it's been entirely out of stock at the sale price in Edinburgh!
*contented sigh*
