I bought myself a new charger for my phone, as the old one wasn't working unless I held it at just the right angle. It was £6 rather than £20, which was nice. What it didn't say in the advert was that it has an LED built into it.

Now, like most people, I recharge my phone at night, while I'm asleep. And the soothing glow of the "I am plugged into the wall." green LED wouldn't keep me awake. However, the annoying flashing of the "I am charging your phone." blue LED that overlays it was visible halfway across the office in broad daylight.

I suspect I'm going to have to take it apart when get home and remove the LED if I want to ever be able to sleep again. I also suspect that there's no contact details, (other than "M-Tek", a name that's led me nowhere) specifically so that you can't phone them up and lambast them for one of the stupidest design decisions I've seen in a long time.

It's a zombie movie, sequel to 28 days later, and I have to say that I preferred this to the original. Which isn't to say that the original isn't good, but this took the original, built on it, took it to its logical conclusion and didn't change halfway through into a completely different movie. Not that that isn't good sometimes (I love From Dusk Till Dawn), but I felt it didn't work in 28 days later.

Anyway, it was good, and I recommend it. It also had a few interesting themesSWALK )

It was a tad disturbing that the trailers before 28 weeks later were largely for movies where a bunch of people wander into somewhere they shouldn't and then get tortured to death. They were Paradise Lost,Vacancy and Captivity. While I'm not going to join the Daily Mail's "Ban This Sick Filth" campaign, franky the last thing I need in my life is fake snuff movies.
