First Walk

After yesterday's horrors (more to follow when my brain works) I got to sleep at 12:30.  I then woke up at 7:00 ready to walk Tara.  Just staggered around the block, with dog in far better mood than yesterday.  Tomorrow I will be taking with a plastic bag to pick up all the broken glass that I had to walk her round today.

And now to work, where there will be stimulants.

"Have you considered squishing them?"

"The bee keeps encouraging me to do so," Jane says, "but the wasp reminds me that the little insects are precious to God. It would be immoral, the wasp alleges, to crush their innocence and their carapaces with a single blow."

"What's that on your foot?"

"It's an objectivist beetle," Jane says. "It's making an argument for laissez-faire capitalism. It would be more relevant to me if I weren't currently covered in bugs."
