Aaaaaaaaaaagggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've had no luck at all getting me and Mike into a game of Age of Kings. We were both in Kent for a bit, then he visited Scotland and we just didn;t manage to get it sorted. So we started this evening at 6:20. At 8:00 we gave up. At 10:00, after reading far, far too many FAQs, newsgroup pages, etc. and roping two other people into helping me test my router settings, I finally remembered that Hugh had a copy of Age of Empires. Now, the thing that was confusing me was that everything else seemed to be fine - I could set up an FTP server on my machine and other people could see it without a hitch.

So I get Hugh to give it a a go, and guess what? It all works first time. Turns out I don't have a problem with my setup - Mike does.

There's an evening I won't get back.
