Screams in the night
Jan. 16th, 2002 09:19 amI'm sure my flatmates think I'm murdering Erin in the middle of the night.
She's been having nightmares for a while now, not that often, but at least once a week, and has woken me up a couple of times with a shout of some kind. This usually scares the buggery out of me (my heart rate went through the roof last night), partially because loud screams at 4am are guarunteed to be a bit of a surprise for me, and partially because I'm worried for Erin about the stuff that's giving her nightmares.
She's definitely coping with life a lot better than she was when I first met her. But, as always, helping Erin sort herself out has dredged up all sorts of stuff that she's not comfortable about and causes her stress. I know that she can make it through this, I just hope I can be some kind of use.
