To be fair I think the more accurate story is that everyone was officially invited to that prom. It's just that everyone except those seven kids were also aware of the other prom.

And nobody invited to both was going to go to the fake one. Because sadly life is not an episode of Freaks and Geeks.

Well, a hidden pin. Not that I think it makes a crap of difference. If she really wants to broadcast the fact she's a Christian, she could get a tattoo on her forehead or something...

There is a new medical study, that came about by accident when a medical researcher noticed that cancer patients who were also marijuana users (medical or otherwise) had their tumors shrink or disappear without cancer drugs or radiation/chemo. So they've started a study and so far the numbers look good.

We used to joke that marijuana cures cancer because it's so great with stomach upset and nerve/joint pain - Now we're saying maybe it's not such a joke.

I read the alternative press, (and the middle eastern press,) so I know that things are not going well in Afghanistan. History could have taught us that.

And if our mainstream American media had any journalistic credibility or sense of journalistic responsibility, they would be covering both the good and the bad in Afghanistan and Iraq every day.

I stopped watching TV years ago because it's worthless. The few decent shows either come out on DVD, or my "real-life Avatar" can download them for me.

Our educational system is making Americans more and more ignorant, and our press is comprised of useless "talking heads" that care more about the sound of their own voice than they do about truly informing the American public.

*Says this after having Taught and tutored mathematics to Uni students... The linear system sucks.
