Hmm. My first thought was, "that doesn't make sense" - but then I thought that if the string c&p'd is even in length, final string would always be even, and if the string c&p'd was odd, the final string would be pretty much 50/50 odd/even. Which I guess means that 3/4 of final strings generated by c&p would probably be even. (Or more, if they were generated by a series of c&p macro-ups, each stage of which would be biased towards spitting out an even result which would remain even for the rest of the operation.)

So in summary, I agree. :)
