Jan. 25th, 2003 08:42 pmThe 3 and a half hour walk in the woods has left me with wobbly legs.
Gina semi-woke me up this morning and asked me to wander through to Stirling and go a-wandering. Two hours later I stepped off the train, picked Gina up from her flat (pretty much opposite the station), wandered through to the far side of town and then off into the woods (which I just had to go look up on the map, because I'm damned if I knew where they are, despite years of wandering the area).
We chatted for about 4 hours in total, which was cool and covered about 20-odd different topics. Gina's one of the few people I talk to often that I can chat to freely but doesn't read my journal, so I filled her in on my recent exploits (like buying a house and my parents getting a dog) and she filled me in on hers (bulimic flatmates, university applications and Dutch half-brothers).
I just realised that I'm dribbling on with nothing in particular in mind. I feel totally exhausted from the walk. Not tired, just worn out. I think a few hours of vacant televisual entertainment are in order.
