Good Thing?  Bad Thing?  I have _no_ idea.

Almost certainly a bad thing though:

Weirdly, that 'Windy' shit aside, the trailers look remarkably faithful to the original.

It does look faithful. I hope they don't stick too slavishly to the original - that'd be the height of pointlessness. Doing something interesting and good with the concept would be better.

Yeah, and other notes I've seen around it look like they are planning on diverging considerably, down the line. Faithful but not slavish is about the only way this could avoid being a travesty or a complete waste of time... I'm feeling waaay better about this whole project than I was when I first saw stuff about their dreadful pilot, I have to say.

Ugh, the "windy" thing really does sound stupid. :/

I have to say though, I'm only just now getting around to watching Life on Mars (the BBC version) and it's pretty freaking awesome. :)
