Hah! That was exactly my reaction. I think these sort of LARP groups just look like this :)

Pretty much. I was president of a university LARP group down south in my final year there. So I know where to throw the dirt so it sticks :)

Then again, I also broke my foot by running down a hill in chainmail in the dark and hitting a rabbit hole at full speed. That's not the scary bit...

...I then proceeded to continue to run around on my broken foot for the rest of the weekend before being sent (by my fiance) to casualty when I got back.

It it the most fun you can have with your mates and a rubber sword in a scout camp though :)
