I may have just set up TwitterFeed to send all of my Facebook status updates to Twitter. And then set up LoudTwitter to send all of my Twitter updates to Livejournal.

I guess I'll find out in an hour or two...

I don't like the Facebook "Foo is..." system. I would be much happier if there were a Twitter -> Facebook gateway. Twitter is far cooler, I can update my status via Jabber for instance.

Facebook has Status Updates.The whole "Andy is..." thing.
Twitter does exactly the same thing - but is a completely separate website.
TwitterFeed will take your Facebook updates and replicate them over at Twitter.
LoudTwitter will take all of your Twitter updates, put them into a single block of text and post them on your LJ.

I'd go straight from Facebook to Livejournal, but there doesn't seem to be any tools that do just that.
So instead I'm going Facebook->Twitter->Livejournal.
Theoretically, at 2am a post will magically appear...

Aaah. I wasn't clear.

LoudTwitter won't create a feed on LJ. It'll post to it. So my FB status updates will end up on LJ as posts on my journal.

I've never really understood the point of twitter, but for some reason it is huge with libraries in the states.

Occasionally your geekery terrifies me! If I want to know your status then I check Facebook. If I want to know where you are(to stalk you) I go to Google. If I want to flirt with you I use Email. Each application serves its own purpose.

BTW. I'm still alive. Will be back in the office tomorrow & will see you on Sunday.
