A good start to the year

I went to bed with a headache last nightand turned my phone off, having completely forgot I was turning 35 at midnight. I woke up this morning to find five different people had tried to call just after midnight, but had entirely failed to get through. My parents left a lovely message entirely comprising of them singing Happy Birthday to me, with the dog making confused noises in the background. There were also two texts, a Wall post and an email. So I currently have a huge grin on my face.

In a mo I will get dressed and head to work - but this afternoon I'm off to see Foo Fighters/Nine Inch Nails. I'm sure I've done better things on my birthday, but none spring to mind...

Yeah I tried a few times then resorted to abusive texting! Was starting to worry that my phone was broken as every text/call I made last night went unanswered!
