Left work early with a headache. Making an appointment to see my GP again, as blood sugar shennanigans are now near-constant.

Have spent the evening relaxing, watching half of Enduring Love, and parts of the 30 best political comedies.

Bloody Sugar or Sugary Blood.

Know all about that sort of thing being an anti-diabetic mutant (must consume huge quantities of sugar to burn off).

Most people don't seem to realise how disconcerting it is to get low blood sugar. I have found no good way to describe it except maybe a hangover without any pleasantness at all.

Careful old bean, blood sugar problems are usually attributed to diabetes or thyroid problems - neither of which is a pleasant thing to get. Myself, I find doctors can't find what to do with me. I consume huge quantities of sugar but have normal blood sugar levels - the rest gets burned straight off.
The fasting blood test is the one I hated most living in a constant state of hunger (I don't eat all the time though or I'd get to be 30 stone).

My problem is a mixture of high and low blood sugar. My body overreacts to sugar intake and pumps in too much insulin, which causes my levels to drop. I then wander about feeling hungry and shaky for hours, and have cravings for a couple of days afterwards.
