Is it wrong that my first thought was "hang on...you used to be in the Mary Whitehouse experience...you had TV shows that were very funny...what are you doing playing to a handful of people in some hole in the wall?"

He's really into politics. Which has led to radically smaller audiences. Why he's not more popular as a political comedian, I'm not sure.

They showed in on E4 a few months back and I "taped" it, and I've watched it three times so far, it's fun and thought provoking.

Indeed, he was good.
Unfortunately I couldn't shake the feeling that he should be doing "That's you that is". Hell, he even pulled out the Jarvis voice at least once (he does a very good Tony Blair though).

I prefer...damn...can't remember the bloke's name. Short, loud, dark haired bloke. Saw him on the news the other day. Possibly MArk something. Did a bunch of stuff for Radio 4. Did some pretty good single-issue shows.
