An old friend has resurfaced - somethingbrutal - if you remember a tallish chap covered from head to foot in orange hair, with something of the viking about him, then that's where you'll find Big Neil.

That's because he WAS scary. I remember him best for teaching somone to fight with a scythe during preparations for the production of "Mort" we did at uni.

Just as a matter ofinterest, should I know who you are? There were a lot of people I sort of knew back in those days...

Wow - when did the big furry one discover technology. I thought it was bad enough the last time I saw him he had a "career plan." Still not recovered from the shock.

Saying that I'm feeling old at the moment or am I just really bad at working out who lj'ers are in real life. Probably the latter.

every time I see Billy (usually when I'm cycling past and spot him) he says he must run some Shadowrun or something.

I'm pretty sure he has a couple of games on the go in his flat but is banging his head against a wall to get people to actually do things in them.

I think Billy still cringes when he hears that battle cry, but he probably couldn't resist the urge to re-write lj. Maybe it is too big a challenge, even for him.

I played a Billy game once.
It was Vampire. It was towards the end of a 24 hour roleplaying day around 1998.
I know my character achieved his goals, buggered off, I fell asleep, woke up about three hours later and they were still at it.

Ah 24 hour roleplays. I remember them. Once I fell asleep whilst talking to Billy during one. The impressive thing was I was standing up at the time. I think he caught me and let me doze in the corner.
