Idea for a Fringe Performance

"Prospero misses the night bus"

A cross between Shakespeare and Beckett in which a slightly sozzled troupe of performers walk home in the middle of the night, performing The Tempest as they go. Performed on the move in the streets of Edinburgh, with the cast surrounding the audience.

Nope - got bus from there.

Ed's doing The Tempest at the Fringe this year and we were talking about outdoor productions of Shakespeare, and also about walking along practising lines, and it kinda came together.

Guy's just flaked out of going to the beack but suggested you might have similar plans for tomorrow? If so, kizeesh and I and maybe some other mates of mine were planning to go, you wanna all go together?

Where you thinking of heading? I can't go too far as have to be back to meet people in town by 7. There are bits of Cramond with very nice beach you can get to, which might be quieter than Gullane/N Berwick too.. (Andy knows the route, I think..) Bueses to Cramond, plus I have a car..

It's Macbeth performed by a cast who walk around the backstreets and closes of Edinburgh, with the audience surrounding them at various spots where they stop to performs scenes from the play.
