Calling geekworld
Jun. 29th, 2006 11:58 pmI've tried burning DVDs with Nero and it's shit - converting from AVIs either leaves it blocky/jerky or the sound badly out of synch. Can anyone recommend a decent solution for converting AVI files to DVDs? (I can convert to MPEG fairly easily, if that helps)

Date: 2006-06-30 07:59 am (UTC)I've tried at least three of the bits of software on that list, with varying degrees of success. AVI2DVD was the worst, largely because it doesn't create a menu for you.
The others largely have limitations in the free versions that make it hard to tell if they're going to work for a decent length movie without me paying for them (or downloading them, which will also take hours).
I'm hoping someone with some experience will be able to give me some pointers.
