Oooh, I have soo been there, twice over the past couple of years in fact. I'm glad they were understanding about it, I still feel guilty about the second of my cases even though it was a year ago now, and am still putting off going near LinkedIn again because that will necessitate removing it from my profile.

I'm sorry to hear that - bad sleep is the pits! Have you tried box breathing https://www.webmd.com/balance/what-is-box-breathing? It is the thing that has helped me most with insomnia.
