My
innerouter rules-lawyer can't help wondering if it counts if all the books are by the same author. If the aim is to enforce even a very low minimum bar for 'widely and diversely read', it seems to me that these days a ridiculously large number of people would be able to answer 'Yes, I've read Harry Potter' and achieve basically nothing towards that goal.(Hell, even I could give that answer, in spite of not having finished the series – because I didn't lose patience with it until book 5...)
