Clearly the issue is with "this is my job and this is yours and if you don't do it I will shout at you" models - nobody feels sexy when there is conflict, and there is always conflict over chores in those models.
Meanwhile, chores done TOGETHER can totally lead to sex, even mind-numbingly boring ones (a recent example from my life - the other day a partner and I were dividing a council ward up into leaflet delivery routes and that led to incredibly hot sex)
