The interesting thing about Axl declining is that both Slash and Duff have said that if he doesn't show they'd be happy to play with Billy Joe Armstrong as their lead singer for the event. (He's inducting them in) and I bet Billy Joe could belt out a mean version of Sweet Child Of Mine and Paradise City.

I guess we'd have to know how many people were found "fit for work" to know if this was an unusually high number anyway.

Headline looks like miscarriage of justice and a really harsh sentence. The alternative headline "Man sentenced to 6 years in Jail for $1.3 million fraud" looks like justice and a fairly reasonable sentence.

... and from TFA, it seems this is 1,000 people put in the 'Work-Related Activity' category, which is not the same as 'fit for work'. Admittedly the Mail has previous in conflating these two.
