In case you think B&N are being assholes towards DC, this stunt is business as usual at Amazon. (I've had my books pulled three times in the past two years by those cunts, in their pursuit of better credit terms from various publishers ...)

Personally I'm in favour of anything that gives one of the world's most obnoxious celebrities a slap, so in this case well done to Clearcast.

The Make Poverty History campaign was about pressuring political leaders too, I'm somewhat bemused as to why this ad falls foul of rules which I thought were about party political broadcasts.

I think anything that ends with "Call your MP today to demand that..." rather than "And that's terrible" falls foul of political advertising rules.

Huh, so they are actually about political lobbying then, I see. I'm not sure I agree that that's where the line should be, but I haven't thought about it before now.
