People should use EM for stuff they think should be emphasised, and STRONG for stuff they want more obvious. My CSS makes EMs italic and STRONG bold, but I might decide to change that.
Ideally B and I tags shouldn't be used much, they have uses but are ideally deprecated. Regardless, I can make them do something else.
Marquee tags are best styled within a journal CSS with display:none!important; or possibly have something else nastier done to them.
Well, if they're going to silently edit my content without my consent I suppose they might as well do something that increases the wholesomeness of the web, rather than decreases it :)
