"Consistent with past research, the men's genital arousal was far more specific, tending to occur most strongly in response to a consensual, non-violent sexual encounter, which was also the scenario they said they found most arousing."
Ooh that Chrome thing is interesting. I really like Chrome, and use Chrome or the Chrome-derived Rockmelt for all my home browsing needs. This feels like a very aggressive move on Google's part; the open codecs they're supporting are quite rudimentary, aren't they? And at the same time as they're sweetly saying that they're 'supporting open codecs', they're *bundling Flash* in their browser. So a better explanation of what they're doing is 'pissing off Apple'.
My understanding is that you can't really tell the difference between WebVM and h.264 by looking at them. And the size difference must be negligible, because the difference in size was what put Google off of the Ogg video formats.
I can see the hypocrisy on Google's part, but I'm glad they're doing it, because otherwise it just leaves Firefox supporting patent-free web standards.
Apple, of course, could support WebVM tomorrow if it wanted to in Safari. I dunno what the performance would be like for software decoding on the iPhone, but I suspect that h.264 will be around for a while, certainly long enough for them to get hardware decoding into it.
my mp3 player died both times i went up arthur's seat, to be fine again later. i forgot that a lot of electronics' stated operating temp is only down to 0 degrees.
On the other hand the good news..
