I watched them 1,2,3,4,5,6 with dalglir a few years back. It was great fun, we started mid-morning and finished shortly after midnight.

Although what we really need to do is an extended edition LotR day again sometime. I've watched the original versions all through again (probably twice thinking about it) since we did that, but I'm about ready to go the whole lot again. Thoughts?

Sorry about the late reply - managed to completely miss this in my inbox!

And yes - I'd love to do that again. Current plan would be to wait for the Blu-Ray editions to come out, and do it then. I suspect that'll be sometime in the next year.
