The one thing that bugs me about my phone is exactly the thing I was worried wouldn't be good enough - the lack of RAM.

It's a Nexus 5X, and it has 2GB of RAM, and I love it _except_ that it struggles to run many apps at once. When switching between Twitter, Facebook, Messenger, Spotify, Firefox, GReader Pro, work email, home email, maps, bus times, Trello, Hews, and whatever else I'm running at once, it grinds a _lot_. And whichever of those is running in the background tends to get shut down on a semi-regular basis due to memory pressure.

I'd been looking forward to this year's Nexus phone, thinking that I'd update to whatever was available. Except that Google just launched the Pixel range of phones instead. And rather than being around £300 they start at £600. At which price point they can, frankly, fuck off.

Doing a quick read around the place, the main phone that leaps out at me is the OnePlus 3. Does anyone have experience of that? Or, alternatively, of another phone with at least 3GB of RAM, and preferably a fingerprint sensor and NFC (I've grown to love the magic of paying for things by phone).
