Bunnies

Some poetry that was passed on to me. I was 'amused',

Can't you hear their beating feet?
Their ears aloft, their movement fleet.
Can't you see the evil glint?
That fills their eyes with reddish tint.
Can't you see their furry shell?
That burns with all the scorn of hell.
Beware, beware the evil bunnies
I hear the rabbits, the rabbits are coming.

and

Just above the windowsill, far far too near.
The sharp-dark silhouette of a hundred rabbit ears.

There's one at the front door! No, now it's at the back!
Speedy Nike-bunnies, kick in the cat-flap!

Twisting joints and cracking bones, through places too small for him.
Contortionist killer-bunnies forcing their way in!

One heads through the window! Another through the door!
With big square teeth a-chomping, they scurry across the floor.

One bites into my neck, another claws at my eyes,
and all that I could think about was their pink and green bowties!
