Judo doesn't involve deliberate head trauma, last I checked - which is what the BMA is protesting about.

Have you watched any Olympic boxing? Minimal trauma. Fast, skilled, more like fencing. There's more blood in rugby.

Id be inclined to agree. Amateur boxing is more about technique and scoring points than trying to knock one another out. I would say on the subject of womens boxing though that womens professional boxing is duller than dishwater.

Mmmm, I agree - I can see a very good argument for banning boxing. But if boxing isn't banned, then women should be able to do it too!
