If you're going to include XKCD cartoons, at least also copy the title text / mouseover gag as well.

A work colleague went on an xkcd archive binge a year ago, and it was only when she'd got to about number 40 or 50 that we told her there were additional jokes in the title text, and she had to start over again. (The first good one is #33, incidentally.)
