Here be nerdcore

Here is the nerdiest collection of nerddom that you'll likely ever see. In which people relate, nay compete over, their nerdiest ever moments.

So, here's mine:
When I was 13-ish (give or take - it was a while back, so the details are fuzzy in my brain) I was obsessed by Heinlein. My parents had a load of his books, and I set about filling in the gaps in their collection. I must have read most of them at least three times.

One of my brothers noticed this, and I told them that I'd read them so much that I could identify any of them from minor details. I bet that given a couple of sentences, with no character names, I could tell them which book it was.

So they grabbed a book and tried me. And I got it. And another. I got that too. And they went through seven books before giving up.

My name is Andrew Ducker, and I was a complete Heinlein Nerd :->

"Dad was busy unclamping their couches and moving them to what was the floor, now that the ship was spinning. He stopped when I came in and we sat around and talked. I told him about Captain's mast. He nodded."

Name that book in one !
