Goddamned shops.

I found the perfect wardrobe - only Ikea only have it in stock in the really expensive finishes or white (which is much cheaper, but won't look right in my room). This has remained the state for days. Of course, they aren't answering their phones and they don't seem to be able to order in new stock that you want...

In addition, I ordered some brackets and shelves from B&Q 11 days ago, and they're still waiting for the wall fixings to come into stock. Why is it so damned hard to ship stuff out?

ikea edinburgh seem to be rather crap. we went in to get about 400 quid's worth of wardrobe and other stuff. They refused to sell us the wardrobes because they were missing two shelf units which were coming in stock later on in the week. Given that we were going to get them to ship the stuff out to us, we asked if we could pay for them now, then get them to ship the whole lot when the shelves came in. A logical choice, you'd think? But no, they weren't willing to do that either...

In the end we got some proper wood wardrobes from ebay for half the price

Try Ikea in Glasgow - If they have the cheaper stock it migth be easier to hire a van and go collect - I'd drive it for you.
