G'day
Rather nice day today - spent the morning trying to make FTP work from behind NAT (it doesn't want to, but you can make it do so in a somewhat kludgey manner), then off to ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
tisme's to hang out for a few hours, then to Stirling, where johnbobshaun's surprise party was to take place. He was remarkably surprised to see me, which was nice, and even more surprised at the amazing food that spidermonster had produced - should The Prudential ever feel they have too many paper-shufflers then a position in the catering industry awaits...
Good conversation was engaged in, and I had a jolly good time chatting to old friends, nearly missing my 10:00 train home - which was still cutting it a bit fine, as with the current bus strike it still took me nearly an hour to make it back from central Edinburgh.
Tomorrow I'm off to Lilian's to work on fanzine's for the WorldCon. Best get some sleep in (after an episode or two of Invader Zim, of course).
