Multimap had the whole of Great Britain once, as did the other lot (Streetmap?) but the folk they were licensing it from wanted too much cash, so they moved to another provider who didn't really have much outside England.
I think I still prefer the Multimap version for getting aerial views of places like Stonehenge and various assorted chalk sculptures: not only do you need an actual postcode for the Google interface, but the images are watermarked.
