Happy Birthdays

My mum just phoned to thank me for her birthday present - the Pixar box set with Finding Nemo, The Incredibles and Monster's Inc in it.  The birthday 'treat' she chose was to go to see Revenge of the Sith.

If anyone has a cooler Mum, I'd like to hear about it :->

Well, Rich took his mum and his grandma to see Terminator 2 at the cinema...and they LOVED it. that's pretty cool. Also, Grandma loves McGyver, and likes any films with "bodies and mystery"...so she really liked LA Confidential! But your mum rocks too.

I like sci fi and fantasy books mostly 'cos of my mama... and she helps me make corsets and has said she'll help me put extensions into my hair and so forth.

I love my mama, she's great :D

Oh, and she makes me sandwiches for college :p

I think quite highly of my Mom, who introduced me to Isaac Asimov, Red Dwarf, and Twin Peaks. But I've always thought your Mum seemed great too.

Your Mum does sound pretty cool. Mine is too. :) I get a lot of my love of sf/f from her, not to mention my love of reading in general (well, that's actually from both of 'em, but she got me started early).

My mum goes to Star Trek conventions, collects sci-fi action dolls and she's 66. I'm not sure that makes her cool, but geeky for sure!
