Are you safe?

Go here and run the browser security check. I'm running Firefox 1.0.1 and apparently I'm perfectly secure against all the attacks it tried. Give it a go yourself and see how you do...

I'm running IE. I had one medium level alert, which has now been patched

Firefox 1.0.2 is out and it fixed ... security problems.

I was disappointed by the results...

I passed 37/37 tests with all 4 browsers I have installed here: Firefox 1.0.1, Opera 8 Beta 3, IE 6 AND even the rarely used Mozilla 1.7.2--the only one that's really out of date; current version is 1.7.6, but I don't use it enough to bother updating it religiously.

Apparently I need to keep my version of Java more up to date.
Is it cheating to update to the latest version of Firefox before running the test?

You mean I didn't cheat? Bang goes my reputation, I'll have to resign from Evil Geniuses For A Better Tomorrow at this rate
