Oh, goodness.  A toilet in a glass cubicle.  Completely reflective from the outside, completely transparent from the inside.

Now that's bound to make you nervous.

You're likely right. I believe I'm confusing "glare" with true reflection. Having googled through hotbot.com a bit, I see nothing about polarized lens being used to see through "one-way" mirrors. Based on real-life experience, though... A 5yo can (and probably well) defeat the mirror by cupping his hands around his eyes and peering through into the suddenly brighter area beyond.

And that would be fairly un-nerving to a few sitters, I imagine.

Strangely enough, "two-way mirror", "one-way glass" and "one-way mirror" are all synonyms.
