Americans - want to balance the budget yourself?  Do it here.

(I managed to do it in one stroke.  But I don't think they're actually likely to remove all spending on the military.  Nor do I really think it's a good idea to do so.

Would agree that it's not a good idea to instantly eliminate all military spending... if I were in charge, I'd plan on doing it over four or five years. ;-)

I would also not up the "peace-keeping" missions while I'm cutting the military down, like Clinton kid. Attrition by troop suicide sucks from a personal viewpoint. Cut the military down, cut the jobs down. Let Europe do most of the work for Europe and their former colonial holdings. >_>

Certainly I'm all in favour of American military never actually going anywhere. Armies that never attack or invade do so much less damage.

I'm in favor of no military aggression from any country with a military; US, France, Russia included. Not gonna happen, but hey.

Sounds good to me. Let's take over the world and cut the military budget of every country on earth to zero.
