Aah, yes. I _do_ believe that socialist institutions can and should exist inside a generally capitalist culture.

It's not like I want taxes to go down or anything like that.

I think that (v. briefly) capitalism is necessary to cause increases in wealth and give people the incentive to work and socialism is necessary to look after people and deal with monopolies (look after natural ones, prevent unnatural ones).

Whereas I believe that small capitalist organisations can and should exist inside a generally socialist structure.

Well there ya go. We both believe that both are necessary. We just need to get together and hammer out the details and we can get on with ruling the world.
