Convert or Die!

There are now 916,000 people in the country who attend a Church of England ceremony once a year.

There are 930,000 people who attend an Islamic worship on a similar basis.

And apparently it's harder to count muslims.

However, the combined total is still less than 2% of the population.  Which, frankly, is how I like my religious people.

You changed your style? I didn't get any notice!

Why is it more difficult to count muslims?

Yup. Religion should be a minority pursuit. Like potholing.

I completely agree. Would that things were more like that over here.

And which ones are yours, exactly?

The low-fat, 1%-ers.

did you mean at least once?

but what about all the people who attend such ceremonies much more often than just once a year? i'd think they'd be more worthy of concern...

I assume those figures don't include students who go to services at the church or mosque attached to their primary / secondary school?

Or religious weddings / funerals, for that matter?
