Very true. Given the amount of times that Neil (Rae) and I lose it and argue you'd think we were mortal enemies, but he's absolutely one of my best friends.

Some of closest friends are the people to whom I have said "You have soooo pissed me off." It's because they are such close friends that I *can* say that, and that in fact I *must* say that. It keeps us honest, communicating, and much better friends.

Many friendships can't handle that, and that is fine. Not every friendship needs that. The closest ones *require* it.

gotta agree.

that's hy bitching can be useful, too. if you go "argh,t his person has done thisa dn it's really annoying!" it doesn't meanyou hate them, you just have to let off steam.

which makes me sound mean and nasty, but tbh, i am.
